Stampede in Yemeni capital leaves at least 78 dead, dozens more injured
A crowd of people apparently spooked by gunfire and an electrical explosion stampeded at an event to distribute financial aid in Yemen’s capital late Wednesday, killing at least 78 and injuring at least 73 others, according to eyewitnesses and a Houthi rebel official.
